I don't like the text. I think the shirt makes a statement on it's own. It says to me... "I could really have explosives affixed to me. I'm glad the war in iraq is protecting your ass from people who want to blow you up."

please leave all your feedback...i want to know how to fix it if it needs it...I got the idea for this shirt from the song Underwear Goes Inside the Pants...there was a line that talks about the "criminal masterminds" in Iraq blowing themselves up and that giving them the title of criminal mastermind was way too much credit...sorry i didn't create a comment on this earlier...but thats the story about the shirt...

They look more like red candles.

apart from the fact that they never proved their was a link between All kaeda and Sadam first, that 12000Irakis have lost their lives by now second, their is twice as much terrorism in the world since bush invaded Iraq, more for the petrol then for liberating the irakis people. Like the shirt, any political stament is good. Have you ever thought what a man has to endure to finally decide the end is life by blowing himselgf up?

I really don't like all the shirts with images / text around the waist. It just doesn't look good

Think about putting the criminal mastermind on the sleeve also look at re-rendering the explosives.
(ie candle comment above). maybe more of a dirty look-not sush clean lines.

btw...the mentality for blowing themselves up is not because they have nothing else to live for but that they believe that this is a selfless act that will bring about change...i am only making a statement that this really doens't qualify as a act from a mastermind of anything...

the ideas and reasons behind this t-shirt are cool but it doesn't translate onto the t-shirt aswell as it hopefully could do? good concepts worth afew tries though

people might buy it without the text but with the text it kind of promotes the whole suicide bomber thing.... which is a bit sick even if thats not your intentions

i thought about making the dynamite outta hotdogs after an episode of the simpson's...but went with the dyna-candles instead...i didn't mean for them to look like candles...but anyhow...mastermind 2 is pending...i think it'll pass the panel...i took a picture of real dynamite, tweaked it a bit, and removed the words entirely...i'll submit a link to it as soon as i upload it to my website...that way you guys can tell me whats wrong/right with that one as well....if you don't mind....

Text looks really bad (weak and slapped on). Is this in good taste (safe?) in this day and age? Try wearing this coming into the US and the rubber gloves and small room could be ALL yours!?! ;]

good concept but poorly executed. like everyone says, they look like candles. the revision is bad. complete change from this and lacks any thought or meaning. remove the wording from this, its not needed. work on the dynamite. dont use old style dynamite with candle type fuses. make it look like wiring that is attached to each bit. dont try and make it look like tape holding them. just looks naff. for help, there is a suicide barbie doing the email rounds. use that as inspiration cos its looks fairly good.

very bad Design

Not origional at all, been done a million times before, and you yourself try to walk through an airport, mall, or any public area without be shot on sight, and then maybe ill buy it.

ok kensi...not original at all huh....alright, i've never seen it before....thats why i submitted it....after seeing a shirt with the gun and holster idea (that was extremely popular) i tried this idea...if its not original then post a link where i can find the copyrited material....i don't steal...unlike a good quarter of the members of this site...i seriously doubt that cartoonish tnt would cause problems...hince the reason its not realistic...but it seems by the comments i should use real tnt...

AGAIN! i'll repeat...if the wearer is DUMB enough to wear this KIND of shirt innappropriatly then thats on them...if you think you would be shot wearing it in a mall or airport then i would ASSUME that you wouldn't do that right?! Hot Topic and Spencers sell innappropriate shirts 24/7 and you don't see the buyers wearing these shirts to weddings or funerals or job interviews....I'm gonna go ahead and give people a bit more credit and say that the AVERAGE man knows....that there is a time and a place for EVERYTHING! i'm not going to defend this shirt further...either yay or nay and leave me comments that will HELP me improve....i do the same for you....at least thats how this site is suppose to work.... so, Kensi, tell me where this "shirt" that i have copied is, OR go doodle some more skater wear to submit

suger, you're just aiming at the wrong market. you're going to get bad criticism on this site, no matter what. in fact, there are a couple of guys who come on and dish out abuse to everything that its become a running joke. but you have to remember, this site is graphic designers designing for graphic designers. for that reason alone, this site will never become massive. despite having a thriving market in the graphic design sector, they alienate the other population with sometimes poncey designs. the amount of people that criticise hot topic on here is big, but thats what sells to the general public.

ur design is a bit too in your face. a lot of designers like a the designs to have more subtle meaning. have u seen the jesus with the barcode thing? religion, jesus,consumerism etc...

ur idea though has potential, ur just aiming at the wrong market. perhaps try tshirthell.com. despite the fact they produce a lot of rude, crude and downright distasteful tshrits, they are the most popular (in terms of hits) tshirt website on the net. oh, and if they like your idea, they will give you more money than here. just a suggestion.
