About the design

Submitted by Leroy_Hornblower on January 29, 2010

What if Charlotte chose a less peaceful way to protect Wilber?

What if E. B. White’s award winning children’s novel was a little more like Animal Farm?

For my 2k10 submission I was looking to create something I haven’t seen on a Threadless shirt, or any shirt for that matter. A few artists on here have taken advantage of Threadless’s ability to print with simulated process, and have photographed hand crafted art for their designs. I would love for that to be taken a step further and start seeing some three-dimensional miniatures built. Like a diorama. I want to see designs that look like they could be a still frame from those old Rankin/Bass stop motion animations (They did those old Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer cartoons), or any design that looks like it was lifted right out of a Robot Chicken episode.

In short, I would like to see more 3d worlds/dioramas.

PS: Check out Laura Plansker’s website (www.lauraplansker.com) to see some well-crafted, and whimsical dioramas.
