I created this design a while ago, but I believe its technique and aesthetic are applicable as a new trend for 2k10. If not with Threadless, then at least, with me.

I think that new trends will encompass old techniques, and will experiment and mash them up in new ways. In this design, I wanted to mix strong, graphic elements with organic linework and painterly effects. Limited color palettes that serve to accent a design rather than dominate it. And I hope that Threadless will continue to print imagery that incites intrigue without any particular meaning.

This design is amazing. I love the subtle contrast between the slate and the black and the very bold neon like colors inside her head. As a t-shirt, this design is very appealing to the eye (my kind of tee) and you can bet that I will purchase this when it is printed. In short, I think that the art displayed here is superb.
