Indeed, producing fabric on top of fabric would be tricky, so I do have a design ready with the patches that are real fabric changed into print only.

About my design
This is my submission for the 2K10 competition.
There are a couple of things in this design that I think will be the new trends to come.
The lines of the quilt will be done with real thread, embroidered onto the shirt. There are also pieces of actual fabric sewn onto the design.
(If threadless cannot produce this, people could do so themselves at home...).
The design has 7 colors.
Girls, get ready for a great line of limited edition, super funky, Trendy printed Threaddresses.
I have made a mock up for the Threaddress I had in mind for this design.
