I hope there are more people out there appreciating good movies and shirt designs referencing on them than I and some others on the blogs initially thought...Or in other words:
Hope you guys get this! If you don't, just google "Hunter Thompson" and look out for the book he released in 1971 ;)

Movie references aren't a new trend you say?
Well, i think mine is a little different:

1. My reference is pretty abstract. There actually aren't any bats squished with a fly swatter in this movie nor do they circle around the Vegas sign. Still anyone who's seen the movie or read the book will get it.
And for those who don't this might still appear as a nice WTF design.

2. I think, or rather hope, that 2010 will be the year of photographic elements in Threadless designs. I really like to combine halftoned photographs with vivid colors like i did with the fly swatter, for example.

That's it! 5 colors on cream, no simulated process required thx to halftones.

Now prove all the people wrong who said this was too niched to do well! :D

Nice idea, the flyswatter to the face of the winged one is really well done...I'm just not feeling the design as a whole really pulling itself together, the parts feel a bit unconnected even though the concept is there completely. Still will be giving this decent marks and keep up the awesome thinking processes man!

ps- Many people will know this as a book well before the movie existed.
