The text says: "cute girls like yellow notebook paper" (the title of this submission), a useless phrase, but when I originally sketched the face it was on yellow notebook paper and the phrase just popped out.

Whether you just want to wipe your ass with the yellow notebook paper or actually dig the shirt, please throw down your comments, I respect your opinions and all are appreciated. Thanks.

I like the message - it's dreamy writing in the back of class. Nice placement. I would definitely buy this and wear it out.

I hate it. Placement is awful. (well the entire design is)

I think the design should be bigger, like the size of notebook paper perhaps.

i've been reading these and clique always has very unconstructive, crappy comments. i like the idea and all...i just don't know if i would buy it. the placement is a bit odd.

I like the design, slightly larger and better placement perhaps? It's difficult to see that placement on a shirt, if it is stand alone. Designs that go to the sides look good if something moves the eye in that direction. If someone is wearing a shirt, the first place I look is the center of the chest, not the bottom corner of their shirt.

i think this shirt is great. i like the fact that the placement of the art is in the lower right corner. not to slam Steve, but I'm sort of tired of seeing the logo in the same place all the time. I was wearing this No Friends T-shirt last night (http://nofriends.com/winter_05/pages/mens/tees2.htm#), and so many people made comments about the placement and how they loved it. Awesome job

Very nice, first good submission I have seen tonight. I love the afterthought-ness of it, the personality of the line. And no blood spatters! 5.

I've seen quite a few comments regarding the placement and I just wanted to chime in.

First off, I did not want the image square in the center, it works for a lot of images but I could not see it working for this particular image. Therefore, I pushed it to the right of the shirt and angled it, throwing the bottom corner of the image out to the middle of the shirt. If you were wearing an unzipped jacket or something, that corner would being sticking out and grabbing the curiosity of friends...family... and neighbours?

I went through various setups. One setup involved having the image at the same angle and off to the right of the shirt but dropping off at the bottom/bleeding off the bottom, so the image (just the bottom portion of the yellow paper) would be cropped. I obviously didn't go that route but it's definitely another option.

The comments have been great so far, keep em coming. I up against some stiff competition, there are some great submissions, be sure to check them all out. Thanks.

Make the design bigger and kinda put it in the lower left where you can see all of the design.

I like the design. The placement is great, too. It's nice to see something that isn't dead center.

make the design the size of a real notebook paper

Love the placement, hate the text, hate the t-shirt color, love the sketch.

Would buy on a blue, pink, tan...just about any other color of t-shirt, if the text were gone. I gave it a 4 before I saw the "cute girls love" part of the text. I'm not going to change the rating, but I definitely would not buy it with that text.

More: I think it would be even better, if there were no text, and a sketch of a boy on say...blue, lined notebook paper, in the upper right, kind of looking down at her.

Don't really like this design's color, placement, concept... but the girl's face has potencial, maybe you could explore the drawn line aspect, it seems you've got a good hand for it. And work harder on the concept, even if it's just a wierd concept only you and your friends understand, it doesn't matter, create with a purpose. Otherwise it's just a nice draw you did.

Unless... it is a very powerfull draw that looks like it was made for a purpose...and makes everyone who sees it go: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! In that case nevermind the theory about concept, and embrace the wonders of spontaneous artistic creation. peace!

i would like this design better if it had no text and no girl and no notebook paper and was instead a drawing of CCAC on graph paper in the center of the shirt... jeeeeeeesus! that better kids???

I think if it was centered, and the design on a peice of seperate fabric, and stitched on, it would be more effective.

But I love the design and would wear it proudly just the way it is.

I like the position of the paper but i might be a little cooler if it was the size of notebook paper: 8" x 11" or whatever. nice job though. i like the simplicity.
