The reason for this being my first 2k10 submission is that I think the new design trend will be based on simplicity regardless of the subject matter involved, my reasoning for this is that design wise we have gone through a long period of pop culture design, intricate detailed watercolours and digital painting amongst other things, however the designs that have always been the hard hitters are the simplistic ones and I believe this is the trend that 2010 will once again adopt.

1 -2 colour design depending on printing, non distress version also available, looks good on pretty much all colours

totally agree with your comment on the simple block print with minimal colours trend. nice and simple! it's alllll about black and white animals! have a look at my design, (awaiting approval...)

p.s. another reason for this simple-print trend (apart from the fact that we have been bombarded with many digital multicolour prints of late) is that it is cheaper to print one colour prints! so expect to see more of this simple yet striking style, expecially while the rescession is still hard-hitting!
