About my design

by cletus the fetus
the singer from the belgian streetpunkband 'the heartaches'.

don't know if the thrashy part is necessary, maybe it's better if the legs just come together with the shirt.

RyuBot4000, what "copyright" issues? People keep parroting that, but no one ever explains it. Where I come from no person has automatic copyright in their own image, only in artistic works derived from it, eg. licenced photos. But this is a separate artwork.

They can claim that use of the image signals they have authorised the image for their own commercial gain, it's called "passing off", but that is very weak in situations like this. As I understand it you can get away with even more in the US where your purpose is satirical or artistic and you are focussing on public figures.

So where's the problem? Is this someone elses artwork? If not, no copyright breached.

very cool, id like it on grey. it wont be a copyright problem. any person you draw is going to look like someone anyways. very cool.

ive done some stuff like that, as well, this is a pic i took and photoshopped (before i knew about illustrator) this was done with a the paint bucket and the polygonal lasso tool.
