The eyes say it all.
Thanks for the comments, You may ask yourself why there is a dog on his shoulder and the answer is BECAUSE HE LOVES IT.
i was going to ask why he had a dog on his shoulder, but you've already answered my question
Different color shirt would be better.
i like how the trees are like suspenders, and he's wearing them also. nice design choice.
great story design
Awesome! I'm glad someone picked up on that.
(The suspender thing)
incredible illustration style! check me slogans plz!
Great title haha! I love your style.
I think that would look pretty col on a shirt
i don't like how the trees are suspenders, and i have no idea why the lumberjack's eyes (and those of his dogs) are watering up over a tree. is he sad that he couldn't cut one down?
Yea, yea they do!
Your response to why he has a dog is kind of flimsy, Sorry. However, if the story here is that they are sad about cutting down the trees then
you could have the dog by his side looking up at him with sad eyes, and being all like "why do you gotta do this", and the lumber jack with sad eyes shrugging being like "man cuz I gotta". Or he could have a big word bubble with a picture of his wife and kids in it. I guess what I'm saying is, I want more story, because as is, I'm stuck trying to make sense out of it. Helpful?
It's cool looking...but I really don't get it at all
The dog, or why he's sad?
T_T saaad...remind Sad Sam.
hahaha. Ok Ok. I'll give a better story behind the Lumberjack for those that would like some closure.
Fred Hatchet is a dog lover and ever since he was a child he wanted to grow up to be a lumber jack like his favorite second uncle who was a legend in his time. Unfortunately lumberjacks today aren't held in the same esteem as they were in the past and Fred is often criticized for Killing nature. Since the rest of his family left him over this controversy the only support he gets now is from is loyal dog, Woody. Fred was on the brink of giving up his career but wanted to do something for his dog to show his appreciation to his most loyal companion. Having spent his whole youth perfecting the art of Lumberjacking Fred really has no other talents so he's forced to put his retirement on hold for one last time so that he can cut down a bunch of trees to make his dog the best log cabin doghouse EVER!
And THAT is the story of "Lumberjacks have Feelings Too."
Very cool very strange, 5
