The overall composition of the piece is really great. I love the dialogue between the shape of the reins and the globe itself. Really nice choice to make the woman and the horse dark. My eyes are really drawn to connecting both of them, making the piece artistically successful. Really fresh, really great idea!

I certainly would buy it! I love the play on words/concept of the globe as a horse and the rider trotting - smart. I also like the colors of an old-world globe and the style. Not sure why but when I first glanced at it, I was reminded of an Englishman from the late 1800s riding a high-wheeler bicycle.

i like this, its cute. but have 2 problems with the design. first, when you're actually riding a horse your feet should be parallel to the ground or at a deeper angle.
second, when a horse is trotting, its legs move on diagonals. meaning the left front and right hind would go together etc. what this horse is doing is pacing, where the legs move in laterals, with the left front and left hind move together. |
