Err, you said "love is addicting" was correct grammatically. I'm afraid not.

Smoking is addicting? It's like "persuasive" and "persuading". "He was very persuading" is an incomplete sentence, but "He was very persuasive" is correct.

If you really want "addicting" which sounds like English is your third language, you need an object in your sentence.

Or you could just go really Japanese and have "Love addicting champion".

hmm... blah internet died for 4 days =(... anyway.... persuade... too bad addict isnt a verb like persuade and it isn't used in the same way. therefore it IS correct grammar... addicting is an adjective very similar to cunning, in terms of usage or numb. "You are a very cunning person" or "Swimming in cold water was a very numbing experience" .. in the case of numbing... it can be used as a verb and also as an adjective. Numbing ~ to make or become numb. as said in the Webster's Dictionary ^___^
