I get it - but see that was from the pilot "the cage" and in fact prior to when the writers knew what the shirt colors stood for. Spock only wore yellow for the first 2 episodes.starting with episode 3 and for the run of the series spock always wore the standard science officer color Blue. Putting spock in yellow is like giving obi wan a black cloak - |
