I love the current innovations in using old analog components and freeform circuitry like solar engines and such. Really brilliant intriguing stuff, the kinda stuff that is unpredictable and fun, the kinda project that could inspire a kid to a life of engineering and making.

SO i drew up a tabletop scene of a beambot getting made, when it first lights up and works, and all the pieces and parts and tools used to make one.

I like it on slate with a black ink - but it also works well on silver.
