It looks good on both, but I think the cream looks better. Unless your going for a subtle thing, then blue.

ps, i also realize the male seahorse brood pouch is in the lower abdomen. in the instance of this design, I chose a little creative freedom, where the swirl starts higher, perhaps suggesting that the seahorse is blowing bubbles and his babies are caught in the current.
