A print made using my favourite 80s design elements. Letraset and Pantone printers ink.

Push the pink cross a little more to the left. it's just off center enough to look like a mistake, but not offcenter enough to look planned.

i disagree a like the chaotic-ness, and i would actually overlap the cross with the type. But I dig this one a lot.

i like it too, but the big pink cross is too distracting. i don't want people to stare at my tummy.

I acctually like this, but for some reason the placement seems a bit odd, but it's cool either way... would love to see a closer shot of the detail in there ... it's the placement that bugs me for some reason ... nice one though, give u props for this one.

love it. except the pink cross/T would more or less be positioned right on your crotch.

I miss some more contrast in the "black" .. it's all the same tone now. ok work

i love the design and teh jumble. but i would like it better if it was more towards the top of the shirt.

pink cross looks like red cross looks like you're trying to heal letraset.

which is really, really funny to me

i'd keep the placement of the text, consider moving the cross to look more balanced

and certainly change the shirt color. nice job.

I'm not into the colors so much, but the design is great, and you obviously put a lot of effort into this. 5.

this COULD work, but it doesn't. i'm not digging the pink cross. i like the chaotic text to the right, but it needs a little more unison. perhaps some scale changes and overlapping would help.

its like a nerdy design fanboy inside joke that i dont appreciate.

This is sweet. Very well executed design. I notice from reading a lot of comments that most people hate text on shirts. So its nice to see someone pull off an almost purely text design. Although, admitedly pretty devoid of meaning. Perhaps that is its appeal. Only qualm i have, as mentioned aboveby someone else, is the shirt color. Even so i think i would buy it anyway. Quality work.

everyone has already said what i thought. move the cross, it looks like its over your bellybutton?..... but i love the design very interesting. now it just needs interesting colors to compliment it.

Futurism Art mixed with a big "+" reminds me of the new HP commercials.

Loose all the text, add some drips to the cross and we're good to go. Just kidding.....nice layout.

Thanks for the comments. I was worried the pink cross may be the designs achilles heel. I removed it from the original submission and just had Letraset from shoulder to hem but it got rejected because the print area was too large. I thought if the Letraset area was reduced, then the pink cross would have to be replaced to add more interest. I wanted to print onto baby blue tee but I don't appear to have one in the thredless template I downloaded??? If anyone wants to see original of this print, and any other 'Letraset collages', email me from my profile page but don't rip the design off!

i see plus signs a little bit too much in design these days, but it fits for the most part. i bet the baby blue would kill. i would most likely buy it either way.

Love the LETRASET idea, it is the place where all designers started, NOSTALGIC.

What i would change on this would be:

1. The cross has to be a bit more descentrated

2. the overall LETRASET layout a bit smaller

3. Maybe find another tee colour for it ( but this is just me taste - don't really like the washy lemon yellow )

LOVELY IDEA - if not enough points - i would redesign it cause it says much to us designers.

If anyone cares to take a look at Revolt Ones website I'm sure you will piss your pants laughing at the cheapness and tackiness of it all.

Its a sort of cheap, corporate, early 90s number in black, grey and blue with some awful typography. His work portfolio is exactly the same. He claims to be my daddy for some reason, is that just a kinky fetish or is he desperately failing in his attempt at one-upmanship?

How is Pantone printer's ink an 80's design element?

It's not an 80's design element per say, it was just a tin of old stock 80's pantone printers ink that I got my hands on to make the original print out of. It was inspired by my favourite design reference book - My 1981 Letraset catalogue! I wouldn't take 10 grand for it!
