Don't like the brown frame or that awkward spot. I don't even like the idea. It reminds me of those cheesy shirts you see at JCpenny's or any other trendy depo. store. And yes, way too many colors. Ronald Mcdonald is copyrighted too. <3

well I don't think the idea is bad, just the execution. If you have a program like Illustrator, you could trace over the scanned (?) design and make it look drawn. Then you wouldn't have too many colors and you could add your own touch. Retry it. Nice for your first try.

Don't like the khaki square frame and the khaki dot. The scan, if it is a scan, needs a bit of cleaning up.

i give you props for wanting to submit, and doing that

but man, come on. before you submit, learn about what you are supposed to be doing.

you already know what you did wrong, you said it before anyone else did.

"i just tore it out

i didnt get the surrounding color right

i bet im using more than 4 unique colors..."

once you have an idea, and you reckon it'll be good, work on it for more than 10 seconds (the amount of time it took for you to tear it out, poorly scan it in, and lazily dump the image onto the template)

if you have no idea how t shirt printing works, research it. (and if you do, then sorry to insult your intelligence. however, i'm going to ramble on anyhow, hopefully you might get something out of it) .... look it up on the internet (screenprinting, vector programs...) learn how designs differ from photographs, and how Illustrator differs from Photoshop. start playing around with vector programs (i highly recommend Illustrator), and really study already-printed t shirt designs (either ones online, or look at your own t shirts). figure out what makes a great design, then put your ideas to work.

i'd love to see your own ideas & dreams in drawings and illustrations (even if you claim to suck at it) - i promise they will be 1000x better than any old news from McDonalds.

you got ambition, i would just say try some more think about it a little more, formal compostion and execution can really make or break a shirt especially. but man you got effort and hear so i won't knock you for that.

The concept is pretty good, but you need to consider the silkscreen process. There's almost no way this could be silkscreened. This would work for transfer-type prints, though. keep up the good work.
