Who better to represent Pop Life than the queen of pop herself? Madonna has been a pop icon for over 25 years and has immeasurably contributed to all aspects of pop culture. Madonna is not only a pop culture member but an outspoken supporter and collector of pop art. She was a close friend of Keith Haring and has incorporating his art , and that of many other pop artist, within her own work, reinvigorating it for new generations. I've designed a simple but striking graphic of one of her most enduring pop culture contribution, the cone bra. Viewing this iconic representation, madonna fan or not, instantly floods the mind with pop imagery of all kinds. This graphic not only represents this single moment in pop culture history but the style in which it is rendered encompasses techniques used in some of the most famous pop art ( simplicity,clean lines, bright solid colors, the use of exaggerated halftone dots etc.) It is for these reason I feel this design encompasses the many aspects of pop life in a unique, effortless, accessible and recognizable fashion.
