The letters are made up of thousands of horseflies. I created the horsefly in Illustrator CS3.

It'd be a cool print but I'm not sure how much detail you'd get on a T-shirt on someone walking down the street. Maybe if the flies were bigger and the letters a little less perfectly shaped ...
