Think you might have started a new craze. Fine art vector illos!
So now we are on Edward Münch, "The Scream" ?
i actually kinda like this tho, but the original by Münch is way better :D
i actually really like this even though its kind of a rip off and im sure you know that....
be afraid of bottled beverages.
Nice colours and positive-negative illustration.
I personally don't see it as a rip off. The scream as other pieces of fine art such as Michangelo's Adam and God ( I don't think thats the title but you get my point) have become icons or symbols. Obviously this piece is refrencing the scream without directly copy and pasting it. I think the drawing is really well done, because anyone that knows the painting The Scream knows what this is refrencing but at the same time the colors and image are a little different. Good job.
that's kinda cool. yeah you can borrow an idea from something as noticeable as "the shriek" (or scream or whatever you wanna call it) but it really is a fine line to walk. i think if there was much more borrowed this would be over the line. as it is, it's a nice little piece.
the expressionism look in the scream is definitely gone and thats what makes it so brilliant...but...you've got something with this. i don't know what it is...maybe its the fact you put your own twist on it...it's an all right job.
you should paint that and sell the canvases. oh wait....
i had to send the link of this one to my museum contact......she gave it a "0" and i did too...sorry
A brilliant remix of a timeless classic. Great vector work!
So... there is where the scream dissapeared
I quite enjoy it, I like that he's the same color as the shirt. You need to start printing your own shirts! Although the SH from New Zealand would be brutal.
I like it alot...
fad-ness but good idea
