Since it has been mentioned twice I thought I would address the moon discussion. I did try it without the moon in the design process. I kept it because without it, the design lost an element of depth and dimension.

Also if you were to imagine you are standing in the forest at night, the first thing that you would notice is the brightness of the moon, until your eyes adjusted and you could start to see what is lurking in the darkness.

I wanted the design to reveal itself slowly. The more you look at it, the more you notice. The moon is just the start of the circle that the eye will travel across the design.

The moon is very necessary, keep it, or maybe if it was in glow in the dark ink? Otherwise as it is=great!

Personally, I like it as is. As mengde said, it would be nice to have the moon in glow in the dark ink. Maybe the owl's eyes too? Either way, I'd definitely buy this. :3

Yup, ditch the moon or at least make it smaller with no other silhouette in it...i actually scored this design but the owl caught my eye at the last second and yanked me back to check this one out. Really nice subtle character.

Wow this is beautiful. Keep the moon, though I can see how it would make for an awesome picture to not have anything standing out, just the hidden scrawly drawing. But I still think, for this, keep the moon. In my opinion :)
