This is a piece that I did back in the Summer of '08, as part of a series. I digitized it recently, and several folks said it might look nice on a tee. Hope they're right!
I went with a simple, one-color design here, with kind of a henna vibe. The lines and curves have a rougher, hand-tattooed aesthetic that you can't really see here, but I promise it's in the hi-res version (and hopefully comes across in the shirt if it gets printed). It's essentially a shirt tattooed with the face of a creature of inspiration, hopefully inspiring others in the process. If it does well enough, I might submit the my other "Muses" designs too.
Anyways, enough of my chatter. Please enjoy and comment! :)
very cool Fred, I like the delicate facial features of your "creature of inspiration"......all the henna design though is a tad overwhelming, but I like the overall simplicity and the color choice. (heather in reno)
