About my design

by mamaGiraffe
This little worm is so determined to read in the comfort of is own chair! He's rigged up a series of mirrors to bring the sunlight down the hole into his home.

great idea, but why not put it on a brown shirt?

yeah, i'd vote higher if it was on a brown shirt. it's just too bulky with all that brown ink on it, and you aren't even using the blue shirt color as part of the sky in the design

my fave is the family portrait

you should really push this - what if it filled the whole front of the brown shirt and the worm was inthe far lower right corner, so that it was a really intricate small pattern on the whole top of shirt, and then you realize what it is when you see the worm

Great idea, love the lil wormy with a pic of his family and on the EZ chair in reading bliss, but maybe on a different color tee and a bit bigger on the shirt, also maybe another effect for the sun ray as it's a bit too solid right now? Otherwise, stellar idea and work.

Thanks for the comments and compliments!

I originally submitted it on Woot a while back on their brown shirt. I liked it on the brown, but when I tried it on Threadless' s brown, it just didn't look right. The brown was totally different. Maybe it was just that I was used to Woot's brown. I should have given Threadless' brown a little more time to grow on me, I guess.

How big can Threadless print? I'm used to the size restrictions being around 15 or 16 x 20" at other shirt sites.

Size shouldn't be an issue but the blue tee was a weird choice when so much of the design is dark. Funny concept though! If the brown was different, you could have adapted the design colors to match it...

Well, for some reason that link didn't work. It worked on my own website. Okay, the old fashioned way then....

I agree, better on brown. sudden and large color changes are almost always unappealing.

I like it on brown too.

Yeah, I like it better on brown too. I adjusted the colors a bit so it would look good on Threadless's brown instead of Woot's brown. I should have just done that in the first place rather than put it on the blue.

Thanks for everybody's comments!
