Ava, the bottom part of the design is the japanese/chinese character for 'cat'. it's a visual pun. he's made the word 'cat' look like a cat. i think it's pretty clever.

very cool, i'd like to see it take up less space though.

in hindsight, it is a little large. I'd probably advocate shrinking it by around 30% if they choose to print it.
