Yes i had him coming out right below the rib cage at the top of the belly. had it up there cuz the word bubble. but looking at it I dont think the word bubble is really needed and we could move him down.

thanks lawrence loh. I made some koolaid and ran it down my finger and went from there. helped me get an idea of how the liquid would flow down a curve

i think it could have looked cleaner without the speech bubble, but it's pretty creepy.

yes I agree. i regretted the bubble after I posted it... the speech bubble is on a separate layer (every color is as well) so it could easily be removed in printing if it ever got that far :)

I don't think the speech bubble is that detrimental, it gave me a chuckle. Great thinking with the kool-aid on your finger...I've been trying to find reference for some running liquid but I never thought to just do it myself.

yeah its good to create your own reference if you cannot find any. i searched for a good while for a pic that was close to what i needed and didnt find squat. :P
