About the design
Young Gracie bought her umbrella at a local second hand store for a mere dollar. It was old, weathered, and remarkable unspectacular in appearance, so one could understand her shock when she found this inscription on the handle, concealed under years of dirt:
Have you ever wanted to fly?
Have you wanted to touch the sky?
Then open me up wide,
And let the winds be our guide.
Together there is no place we can’t go.
Together there are no borders telling us, “No!”
We can soar to a distant shore
And picnic with the monsters of yore.
Or go swimming in a bay
Where the leviathans play.
There are adventures abound,
And treasures to be found.
Just open me up wide,
And let the winds be our guide.
It was the start of a magical summer.
