About my design
Here do we see?
And why does he weave
In through the tree?
Perhaps to reach the leaves
And procure a tasty snack?
But I wonder -
How does he ever find his way back?

I designed this for "Threadless Loves Childhood" because for me childhood was all about books and reading and learning. Of all the books I remember most, it is the collection of Dr Seuss that i feel most shaped my view of the world and my desire to be creative and imaginative. I think Dr Seuss really captured the joy of childhood through emotive imagery and fun stories, and so I wanted to do something equally imaginative, with "Spotted!".
Spotted! is "a happy design" and i hope it makes you happy too!

Finally, thanks to Manos for the Flash template, and Igo2cairo for the most colour help. Also thanks go to all the cool critiquing people who helped me shape this piece from sketch to submission. Oh - and thanks to my gorgeous partner for putting up with many hours of my Illustrator frustration and hogging the office in "creative pursuits".
