The title, NAD (3), makes me laugh! I know NAD (or nads) as someone’s nuts, balls or bollocks etc etc! So NAD (3) is someone with 3 testicles - right? ;] Man, does that mean that there is a NAD (2) design out there also!? {hehe}

"nad" is short for gonads.

as i recall, the whole idea of "not a dragon" was really just a rebuttal to the fact that you originally labeled this a dragon, and someone pointed out that it is more of a griffon. at this stage, is it really that important that you let the viewer know that this is not a dragon? the text is pretty useless in this design, if not distracting. the graphic elements behing the figure certainly are distracting. after three revisions, you may want to reconsider if this concept is worth all the work you've put into it.

I'm just having fun with it, man. I get comments or suggestions and at times that makes you redo or rework what you have. Which is the concept of this website - no? You say 'revisions', that is a big word here. Too big. Not that we're all just goofing off here (only 95% of us do that), but I don't take it all THAT serious.



So you may not consider this to be worth my time, that's OK. For me, that is my decision to make, yours to question. Most likely this means you thought this not worthy of your time, which unfortunately is a common thing when rating submissions here...

you have got to be the most sensible and level headed designer on this site. it is a true pleasure to engage in a critique with someone like you. seriously. it would have been real easy for you to just call me a jerk and write me off. i appreciate your attitude.

that being said, the figure is good and would work well as part of a logo or branding scheme (which i know doesn't go over well on this site, but there is a whole big world of commerce outside of this site), but again, personally, in the format you've presented here, it looks too similar to stuff that i've already seen on the market that has gained the connotation of being 'cheesy' due to it's overuse.
