you emperor has such great character, in his facial expression and his stride. i just feel he looks a little lonely without a bit of background with a load of onlookers or something else to really set the scene...

At one time I did consider adding a monochrome colored crowd in the BG, with amused, horrified or laughing expressions. I finally figured it would be a bit too much. |
