Really cool idea and execution.
but Sierra and Lima kind of throw me. I presume that's Sierra Leone, but perhaps a mountain range (or a couple tall mountains), would be more suited. since "sierra" is Spanish for "mountain range", and might be more comprehensible (identifying with the Sierra Nevada, Sierra Madre, and other ranges in North & South America, Europe, and elsewhere). and I just learned online that Lima is a Victoria's Secret model. 4! |

I'm in the Army and, as such, vry familiar with this alphabet. I LOVE this concept but have a few issues with it. I think for alpha you should use the Greek symbol "α" and while I like the joke of the unicorn, this doesn't seem like a jokey shirt. I think kilo would work better if it was a large triangular weight with 1000 written on it. I'm not crazy about Papa but can't think of another image to use other than Papa Smurf perhaps. Also, I agree with phones about victor.
Finally, I'm not too crazy about the shirt color. I get the significance but the Army isn't known for its fashion sense. Don't get me wrong, I love this design all around but I think with a few improvements, it could be truly great! Keep up the good work. |
