Why is this design not getting the attention it so richly deserves? It's gold, not the false glittering stuff!

For the confused...

All that glitters is not gold is, what I thought was, a well-known saying. The expression dates back from at least the 12th century and in as many words means that not everything is what it seems. One of the most well known uses of it is in William Shakespeare's play, The Merchant of Venice.

My take on it is a bit more morose. The blood obviously represents a darker side. Whether you translate that to human tragedy in poor countries that supply gold to Western wealth or simply a hidden tragic side of a person/situation that ordinarily seems perfect.

This is awesome. I would definitely buy it IF it was printed on black - think it would have more impact with the black and gold. Gets a bit lost on white. Go the black and I'm yours!
