My ode to the scratchboard.
Wow! I like that!
what a sick shirt
that is freakingg amazingggggg
i wud instantly buy this one, its a 5!
dumb question, what's a scratchboard? I do find myself drawn to this.
I am liking the design, especially the head in the corner. But I think it's a little too busy.
i like the idea a lot, but i personally think there is too much in there. great work though!
scratchboard is a sweet medium where its a sheet of clay basically covered in black... something. Not quite sure what the black stuff is, but anyways its a little thicker then a peice of paper and you basically scratch away the black to reveal the white underneath, its sort of like working with ink in reverse, and reminds me of that black magic stuff i would do with crayons in kindergarden, anyways its awesome i recomend trying it out.
sweeet would buy that. no doubt
big fan of the busy designs
I'm not really into busy designs. The art work is pretty cool, but I would leave those little star looking things out of it, it doesn't match very well.
a 5 for technique.
Wow, great work!
Its busy but it's beautiful.
thanks everyone really have appreciated the comments
Very, very nice drawing. But for a t-shirt? Not too sure about that. A print/poster/airbrushed on the side of a van for sure, but it's a little much for a t-shirt in my humble opinion. I say this mainly because it takes up too much surface area. I'm not a big fan of "loud" t-shirts, and this one is in that neighborhood.
By the way, that statement is simply my personal preference. Tons of people wear t-shirts that have huge designs on them that take up the whole area of a t-shirt. For that reason alone, it is not my style. I prefer a smaller design. Great image though.
