Kilroy was a technique used to buoy up the liberating armies as they marched through occupied Europe. Advanced paratroopers took their own initiative and painted the graffiti on walls so that the front-line infantry troops started spreading a rumour about a super-solider who was always just ahead of them making the way safer for their attack.

I don't know. It's funny for sure... I wouldn't wear it, but lots would. As far as underscored... that's debatable... look at the 3+ scores and the art here doesn't quite meet that level... just my opinion.
