People like to compare way too much these days. If it's good, then it's good. It doesn't matter if it's a concept similar to another. If fact if something works, why not use it...

honestly, the cutest thing i've ever seen. maybe it would be cute to add a bamboo shoot to the rice since pandas eat bamboo...? i dunno. it's pretty much perfect.

People may compare way too much, but this work feels more unoriginal in concept. It has stellar graphic appeal---real talent in design. However, it seems wasted on an unoriginal concept.

I did not think of kung fu panda when I saw this but, what's WRONG with it reminding you of kung fu panda?
Possibility: You're walking down street wearing this shirt. Stranger says, "Haha, cool kung fu panda shirt". You yell back, "IT'S NOT KUNG FU PANDA!!!". A fist fight ensues. Doubt it. |

This is an excellent illustration, well executed and too cute. I really like the attention to detail, like the fur texture and the panda's claws. As for a shirt, it's not something I would wear personally. Regardless, nice work! :) |
