I like the concept here, but it looks like you did this in MS Paint or something. If you re-did this in Illustrator it would feel a lot cleaner and probably appeal more to the kind of people who are members of this site.

The concept here works well, yet the illustration techniques are poor. If there was more detail, a larger color variety, and good shadowing techniques used, i would buy this shirt!

It's a bit bland and the colors do not compliment each other, the contrast between them is distracting and unappealing.

I think this is pretty cool it probably just looks weird to people because gif files are kind of low quality so they make things look bad. I like this shirt.

in this case, i couldnt care less how much time or what program was used. i wouldnt want this shirt to be printed here on threadless because there are MUCH better ones- BUT- i myself find this adorable and i am a sucker for things like this. if i saw it down the shops id buy one. thats my take. tweak the colours. they shit me.

I like that this shirt is simple. It stands out. A lot of the shirts on here are so detail heavy that they look like Rave flyers from 1997.

i think this is a shit design. the colors don't go together. and the whole drawing style looks like it's been drawn by a 2 year old. it's not even stylized 2 year old drawings which make everything almost unrecognizable. too many votes for this just because it's the first design in the gallery. threadless should come up with some kind of randomization in the gallery so designs in the back pages are actually seen.

this is one of the cooler ideas ive seen on this site, i wouldnt mind seeing more submissions in which you approach it in different ways, it has lots of potential

there is something about the shape of the water that doesnt quite fit, it looks like a cloud almost...unless its supposed to look like a cloud. in which case, more power to you.

There is nothing wrong with the illustration style, if done on purpose. To the "needs to be better illustrated" posts. There ARE other ways of illustrating. Everything doesn't have to be super clean lines with realistic shapes.
Though I would change the color of the elephant to it's natural color. It would fit with the color of the shirt better. Nice! |

it's funny, cute, and simple. the only thing is the colors. all three of them are rather drab, so nothing jumps out at you... i'd pick a different color combo.
