I like your other Union Jack design better. The colors on this one are a bit too harsh, and the "BLING" banner is really kind of stupid. This design would be a lot better if the banner didn't say anything, or if it just said "ENGLAND". The "BLING" just seems like you're trying way too hard to make this "hip".

Well, I'm not gonna go defending this design to the death. I actually kinda regret submitting it since I prefer the other version anyway. But as for the color choices, I think I'll stick by them. The idea IS to get them to pulsate. I mean, if that's not your cup of tea then so be it, but you can't just say the colors don't work. I'm using compliments against a neuteral which is a well worn formula but I'd like to think that I'm doing it in an exciting way.

I love it and I believe the colours work very well. You found an unsual but yet right combination of colours.

I like this one alot more than the other 'all over' one...some direction to the composition
