Yeah until Lucasfilm decided to sue and Threadless had to withdraw it. Having said that if Threadless had absolutely no intention of considering to print this they simply wouldn't have put it up for scoring. |

ok, i agree that this would probably get you sued by george lucas. anyway, change the ships so you cant get sued, make them original, anyway i love it! cool if u printed the sleeves, tho....

i'm not a fan of the clustering or the mis-spelled title but it's a great design idea!

This looks great, but I always have a feeling of "why is this somehow better with copyrighted items?" To me you could have drawn two unique ships of your own in the wireframe style, and had it look JUST as good. All using Star Wars ships does is make total star wars nerds want it and make non Star Wars nerds tentative to wear it, not wanting to be mistaken as a huge fan. It'd be far more universally awesome without cheapening it for the fanbase profits.
that said, it really does look cool, and everything is simple enough that if this printed, I'd probably consider it anyway. |

i'm not a star wars fan, btw.
would it be possible to have this over the entire shirt? could be a little simpler on the back, but i'm a little disappointed how almost all of the shirts here are one-sided when some of them would look very nice with front and back IMO. |

I think Adder makes an excellent point...and his suggestion would also allow you to avoid copyright problems. I would also personally be more interested, as I originally thought of old school asteroids when I first saw it.

thats lame i didn't even think about a copyright issue but this is a way cool shirt. i grew up on star wars, and it reminds my of my brother as a little kid he drew space battles all the time.
i would totally buy it. |
