ginetteginette on Jul 02 '09 as for experimentation - this really was. it's something i made two years ago in my mixed media class and it's called a gouache/ink resist.
*what you do is, you paint something with white gouache (or other pale colour) and then after it's dry you cover it entirely with black india ink and after that is dry you put it in the bath and run water over it until the gouache+ink on top of gouache lines disappear! and it ends up looking like a lino-cut or somethin'. :) thanks doods! |
