Driving home from work yesterday I spotted a group of emo kids walking along, looking sad and depressed, dressed head to toe in black (even though it was 101º), speaking the unspoken language of teenage angst. And all I could think to myself (after laughing a little bit) was that somewhere, some time, someone must have loved these kids, even if they refused to believe it.
