Thanks guys! I forgot to mention that it's 8 colors on a white tee (the white in the design is a part of the shirt). It can also work on a black shirt.

looks like you've been learning a few tricks from hector, which is in no way a bad thing! kind of reminds me of ancient aztec/mayan kinda stuff, it's awesome!

Shoo, heavy rectangles are compositional death on t-shirts, imo, but clearly I'm way against the tide on that. Well done for tapping in to what people other than me like.

FRICKINAWESOME on Jul 02 '09 I'm glad that design isn't on my floor hiding out as a rug because it would suck to fall into that limitless void! Love love love the attention to detail you put around and around the spacey area, I just wish it kept branching out until it took up the entire front of the tee so it felt more at home as a shirt design. Still wonderful work!

Simply put, the design's about Space and Earth. The waves, mountains, cacti, etc. represent the Earth and the planets, stars, etc. represent space. Those two have been loved by millions of people for thousands of years. Meaning Space and Earth have been "pre-loved" by people before you and me.
Hopefully that clears up any doubt about why this is in Pre-Loved. I just wanted to go a (very) different route than the way too common "Hey I found that tricycle, or old coat that I loved a long time ago. Now here I am using it!!" sort of concept. Those are making up about 99% of the competition right now. I wanted to do something different from those. |
