It looks like I'm in the minority, but I think the teddy is a little TOO sad, so it's more creepy than adorable. Maybe a subtle tweak to a button eye?

I don't think it's too sad, because everyone has had, or had a friend who had, or has a kid who has, a plush toy this well loved. It can really go either way.
