Any specific ideas?

Clean up the lines, perhaps try only outlines for the cards,
Try red and white instead of the teal as they are the actual colours of cards,
Try adding details to the cards - symbols and numbers, while keeping the figures flat, I don't really know because I have no idea what your inteded message is, but try and experiment with those things.

I would like cleaner sharper straighter line. Different color would be nice too.
