I'm sorry, this is really well done, but it looks EXACTLY like a Sheppard Fairy shirt. Like, I can see you getting sued for copyright infringement.

Like I wrote, inspired by OBEY. I still think my design got my own little twist.

I'm not really seeing anything original that you've added to the OBEY theme here. And just acknowledging that it's "inspired" by Fairey will not protect you from his team of lawyers.

I would rather see it on the hole shirt too, but it is killer.

Oh man, I didn't mean to sound like such a jerk! I really, really love your design, but sadly, it really does look a LOT like an Obey shirt. I'm sure they would never bother with just a design, but I don't think that Threadless would ever print something that was too similar to an established artist's style, and if you pursued other paths to get it printed, I would fear legal action. Which is really stupid because Sheppard Fairy actually stole almost all of his designs from other people. He's pretty much the biggest thief in the business. Ironically, that's why I would be afraid of him suing.



(And I'm not referring to a specific Obey shirt, just the whole Obey 'look')

Hi, no problem mate! I kind of knew that this design is very similar to any Obey shirts. This was done on purpose, I just wanted to make one print that had that 'obey look' like you said. No more no less. I have read that article before, it's pretty crazy how much Obey have ripped off others design and ideas.



I have tried to contact Threadless service trough email, cause I want this submission deleted, but it's still up and running! I hope they will delete it anytime soon!

This is silly. You haven't copied Obey, you've just copied all the stuff that Obey copies, money, religious art, secret society stuff etc. Provided you've made all that yourself, you've done absolutely nothing wrong.

I think it'd look a lot better if it was belt printed all over the shirt...but other than that, nice!
