You should stick to 2 colors on the knight piece.

there's not enough contrast going on between the foreground and background. the horse needs to be more substantially rendered i think. i also feel that the shadows need more weight to pull off the intensity of the highlights. also, the composition is a little boring and you might want to reassess the perspective just a bit on those 'square' tiles.

Thanks for the tips, valejandroa, really appreciate it. I candefinately see what you mean with the perspective of the squares.

Perhaps if i exagerated it and added aa few more tiles going of into the background? I'll experiment wth the colours, and about being more substantially rendered (If i understand your menaing correctly) I have another layer of tone that I deleted for this that I might put in. That would kinda go against scs3000, I'll just have to see.
