You're on to something with this, but I think you really need to up the level of detail on the girl and the apple-- they're in the foreground, the focus of the image, but they almost have less detail than the background.

whats up with the stick figure shadow in the grass? dont think that needs 2b there.

Very nice idea, and I like the girl and the background, but I wouldn't have used the stock grass brush that comes with photoshop, I think the grass would look better for being hand done.
