Great work! Only thing that I don't like is that flourish element above the turtle, I think it would look much better with out it!
But this one deserves 5! |

The flourish elements threw me off at first too... It seemed an abstract drawing before I got the turtle and tentacles into focus. I don't know that I consider that a bad thing though. It brings a new dimension to the artwork.

I intended that this artwork is not to be realistic situation. So, this flourish element is added as a sort of decorative element in turtle.

i would recommend adding as much detail to the tentacles as you have given the turtle. the two elements dont seem to work together as is...

I avoid too complex whole design.. So, I simplified tentacles in contrast with turtle's complexity.

LOVE the turtle design. Yeah the tentacles aren't as complex, but it adds charm and keeps the focus on the turtle, not the tentacles trapping it. $5 from me!

I appreciate this design. It would be totally awesome if you cleaned it up and tried again. Maybe without the tentacles... I'm not sure. But the turtle is beautiful. =]
