This is a awesome concept but I'm not big on the overly large newspaper covering most of the tee...

I like the concept as well, but somehow the composition is off. I don't like the outline or the size of the newspaper. It should look more collage-y. But I like the idea lots.

Yes the stroke around the newspaper is too thick and distracting. I would get rid of it altogether and make the edges of the newspaper a little rougher so that there's a smoother transition into the background color.
