I think a little more context would tie it together. It's a great pun and execution, but I think some staff bars or extra notation might make the concept more readable on the street.

maybe make the note smaller and over where a pocket would typically be? or make the sheet music lines, as suggested before, but make them creepy and smokey...

I like it, but he looks a bit like a death egg stuck to the tee. I get what you mean with the design though, but for the average joe blogs down on the street, it might need a bit of tweaking still.
