Koi were developed from common carp in Japan in the 1820s, and are still very popular there as they are a symbol of love and friendship.

I ADORE your koi. As far as a shirt goes I would definitely wear it if it had been a brighter colour T... say a dark blue T with light blue koi, red T with yellow koi, etc, but that's just personal preference. The drawing is fabulous.

Nice design...I would like to see minimal color in this...maybe adding a broader strip of color next to the black lines.

I was clicking around the design for the UV ink button that would show all the oranges and other vibrant colors of the koi come out, but alas, it is just the one color version, which is very cool, but would push it over the top for me with a UV color option.
