Besides the frame, this is sick as hell! I love the style and the aformentioned "boxiness". It has elements of Kandinsky (my fav painter) so this design def peaks my interest. Great sub and good luck on being chosen for a print. I like this design a lot!

I don't think that framing something puts an illustration to shame and I don't quite understand why it's so shunned here. Not every design belongs in a frame, but just the same, not every design should try to blend or flow all over the place on clothing.
I do agree that nothing should be over used, weather it be framing or otherwise, but this illustration was designed with line art/ bold lines/ etc. I don't see how it would work without the frame. This is killer style. I'd wear this. |

xiv on May 26 '09 This is one of the few pieces that actually works inside a frame. But to loosen it up, you could always remove parts of the edges in certain places; then it wouldnt be so restricted to a rectangle.
i gave it a 4 by the way. |
