this is AMAZING i would really love if the pictures were bigger though. and possibly arranged in a decending manner. but the concept is bloody brilliant!

Enlarged cerebral ventricles (otherwise known as the thing that you've turned into a butterfly here...) are indicators of mental illness. I don't think I want to free my mind in the way depicted here.

Thanks DivineAna, all normal brains have cerebral ventricles, which are more or less conspicuous depending on which fMRI weighting is used. To put your mind at ease, these images are from a normal brain, with a little artistic modification, so relax and enjoy the art.
